Interview with InfraNorth researcher Elena Davydova by the Yerevan Center for International Education (YCIE).

InfraNorth researcher Elena Davydova was recently featured on the podcast А теперь по-русски (in English, “And now in Russian”), produced by the Yerevan Center for International Education (YCIE). The podcast highlights scientists who share their work in Russian, discussing topics they often write or talk about in other languages, as well as their big dreams and small joys.

In this episode, Elena Davydova talked about her field research in Chukotka as well as her work within InfraNorth, focusing on the infrastructural dimension of food sovereignty practices. She also shared insights into her personal biography, projects and hobbies.

The interview was recorded in the framework of Elena Davydova’s presentation at the “Anthropology of Uncertainty” conference organized by the New Literary Observer journal and the European University at St. Petersburg, in collaboration with YCIE, held last October 2024 in Yerevan, Armenia.
