Nov 20, 2021: Talks by Olga Povoroznyuk & Peter Schweitzer at ASEEES 2021

Olga Povoroznyuk and Peter Schweitzer will be talking about the anthropology of transport infrastructures in the North at the 2021 Convention of the American Society of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) in New Orleans, USA. The roundtable discussion “Searching for Siberia: Interdisciplinary Approaches and Transnational Perspectives” will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 3:45pm CST (9:00 pm to 10:45pm CET) in person.

The participants of the roundtable, including anthropologists, historians and linguists from the USA, Russia and Austria, will discuss new research topics and approaches within the studies of Siberia and the North.
